2007-30 Tellico Lake, Tennessee
Hello All,
This has been a rather laid back week for us. We have been getting some service work done on the truck in preparation for our jaunt south next month. We probably won’t leave Tennessee until the last few days of October, as we are anxiously awaiting the fall colors to arrive in the “Smokies.”
Stacy and Joan’s friends Butch and Lynn arrived at the campground in their motorhome early in the week. Mid-week we all went out on a boat cruise of Tellico Lake. It was a bit hot, as temperatures were still in the mid 90’s. But, it was a great day of fun. We are still amazed at the beautiful homes on the lake. Some are truly spectacular--hence the picture of the week.

Barb mentioned this week that
she wanted to do a photo collection of barns and Dave has been thinking about
doing one on churches. We have a number of photos of both from all over North
America but have never concentrated on either one as a subject matter. Now it
has begun. Our spare time this week was spent taking photos of them. This part
of the country has a lot of both.
Late in the week a cold front passed through the area. There’s no more humidity and temperatures are in the low 80’s. It is awesome.
Until next time,
Dave & Barb
